Export Promotion Office (EPO) is a consultative and advisory body under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, that has been founded to help Ukrainian exporters in opening new markets. (Ministry of Economic Development Order No. 1861 as of November 3, 2016).
The idea of creating an export promotion instrument belongs to the Trade Representative of Ukraine – Deputy Minister of economic development and trade Nataliya Mykolska.
Maryana Kahanyak, Advisor to the Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine, is one of the initiators and the Director of the Export Promotion Office. Under her leadership, the Office has evolved from an initiative group of volunteers into a full-fledged functional tool for supporting Ukrainian exporters, which will be transformed into a governmental institution.
The strategic goal of the EPO is to help Ukrainian business to become successful in international markets by:
- Developing the export competencies of Ukrainian business.
- Ensuring partnership and cooperation between Ukrainian and foreign businesses.
- Promoting Ukrainian products and services abroad.
EPO provides assistance in the following areas:
